De Raymond French Perfume Bottle "Art Deco" -
Jollivet, deluxe gold design, 1930, 5".From the estate of Helen Fay, noted Fashion lady of the first half of the 20th century.
DE RAYMOND, ART DECO PERFUME BOTTLE
This beautiful art deco perfume bottle was designed by Andre Jollivet for DeRaymond, a French company. This bottle was used for various DeRaymond fragrances. The bottle is empty. The hexagonal stopper and bottle are deeply molded with gilded accents. The bottom has multiple stampings -- molded in raised lettering "Made in France" and "A.Jollivet." It is also acid etched - "Made in France - A.Jollivet" with an etched squatty-shaped bottle in between the words "Made in France" and "A.Jollivet." The etching is difficult to see - it will take some good light and manipulation of the bottle. Displays beautifully. Heavy bottle -- weighs 1/2 pound.
