Bockscar: The "Bockscar" was a B29 assigned to the 509 th and named by Its assigned crew after their Commander Fred Bock. The plane flew the Nagasaki Mission with the Sweeney Crew carrying the Atomic Bomb, the Bock Crew traded planes with the Sweeney and flew " The Great Artiste" to Nagasaki. 8"x10" Color photograph of the Nose Art taken at the U.S. Airforce Museum, autographed by nine (9) .
