late 18th century, probably New England, ogee cornice, upper case with five graduated drawers with batwing brasses, three lower drawers, spurred bracket feet, lower case with inscription "Maj. F.M.W...", 80 x 39-3/4 x 20-3/4 in.

structurally sound, brasses replaced, scattered small patch repairs throughout, cornice with some later pinning, drawer facings with some darkened filled areas, some small losses to drawer lips, one front bracket foot with break and repairs, one replaced spur carving, minor cracks and other imperfections expected with age and use
