14th Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court Earl Warren led the court between 1953-1969. The Warren Court is often considered the most liberal court in US history, expanding civil rights, civil liberties, judicial power, and federal power in several dramatic ways. It has been widely recognized that the court began and led the "Constitutional Revolution" in the United States. The court oversaw desegregation in the U.S., most notably with the Brown v. Board of Education decision in 1954.
