III è su 2 fogli diversi) di cui 11 ripiegate. Le incisioni sono di Pierre Fourdrinier, Thomas Major e Müller, su disegno di Giovanni Battista Borra. Nome dell'autore a p. 16. Segni d’usura alla legatura, internamente lieve brunitura.Prima edizione con le magnifiche 47 tavole che mostrano vedute del sito storico di Baalbek (nell’odierno Libano), con diverse piante degli edifici e bellissimi dettagli architettonici. L'album fu realizzato in seguito al viaggio intrapreso da Robert Wood con James Dawkins e l'architetto G. B. Borra nel 1750 per visitare e studiare l'Egeo, la costa dell'Asia Minore, l'Egitto, Nazareth, Siria, tra cui le rovine di Palmira e Baalbek, Tripoli e Cipro.

Folio, mm. 525x365. Quarter sheepskin binding, gilt titles and ornaments on the spine. Red edges. Pp. [1], 28, 47 etchings numbered I-XLVII (plate n. III is on two different sheets) of which 11 folded The etchings are engraved by Pierre Fourdrinier, Thomas Major e Müller, on drawing of Giovanni Battista Borra. Name of the Author on p. 16. Sign of wear at the binding, inside slight browning.
