Description
Great pieces for framing a WWI/II book collection or just for an unusual decoration. Each bookend measures approx. 6 1/4" long x 5 1/2" high x 4 1/2" wide and features a machine gun clinometer sight, one Kershaw & Son (WWI) and one Price & Son (WWII). Once attached to the Vickers Machine Gun, as the barrel was raised, it could be measured against the Clinometer to find the angle of elevation. Used by the British in both world wars. Very good vintage condition; one of the sights is pulling out of the wood a little and thus sits a little wobbly.
