Description: One Rare Fine Art Piece Original Victorian-era maritime watercolor painting depicting Liverpool Docks, paddle steamer ships, and St. Nicolas Church in Mersey. Possibly signed J McGahey, although indistinctly signed by the English local artist in Liverpool. Historical sea view of the Mersey shoreline at Liverpool Docks. The well-known Church of Our Lady & Saint Nicholas of Liverpool is visible, and in the distance are towering ships and paddle steamer ships carrying passengers. It is claimed that from 1257, the location has been a house of worship. The church is located close to Pier Head and the Mersey River. possessing exquisitely deliberate delicate brushwork. Watercolor on paper with a glass cover and a board backing. place inside a later gold frame.
