Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty GuangXu Famille Rose Flower Porcelain Bowls. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against famille rose design color, depicted of flowers blooms interspersed foliage, scrolling interlocking tendril and Chinese calligraphy lettering inscriptions poems, followed with artist's signature and iron-red seals on the upper left side. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within red rectangles lines. Made in The Years GuangXu Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
