Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty KangXi Famille Rose Porcelain Bowls On Carved Hardwood Stands. The porcelain potted with a shallow body, slight deep, thick, flaring rim with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in blue and famille rose design color, depicted of lady beside abundant blossom in medallion surrounded with flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a four under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within red rectangle lines. Made in The Years KangXi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
