Native American, Southwestern United States, Acoma Pueblo, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A handmade wedding vase by an unknown artist, the base signed "Acoma New Mexico." The terracotta surface is slip covered in a creamy white pigment with black and orange hues of abstract birds and flowers. The double spouts represent the bride and groom, and the unity of marriage with the connecting handle. Size: 6.5" Diameter x 8.75" H (16.5 cm x 22.2 cm)
