Description

Available here for your consideration are four bits mounted by Jim Brost. Earl Bridges would purchase various bits that needed silver work or repairs. He would take them to Jim Brost who would then fix them up and re-mount them. Jim Brost worked with Steve Schmitt and originally learned from Steve. These snaffle bits are ready to be put to use, or hang them on your wall - they look great!
PROVENANCE: Earl Bridges estate. Earl was a well-known bit and spur collector and a walking encyclopedia on the history of them.
MAKER: Various, but all refurbished by Jim Brost.
APPROX AGE: Bits are modern, and refurbished in modern times.
SIZE: These items all measure 5 inches at the mouth and overall they measure between 5 1/2 inches to 8 inches long.
CONDITION: Good, minor imperfections expected. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description and are hereby incorporated into the description, specifically with regards to condition.
HANDLING: There will be a $10 handling / packaging fee for shipping this lot.
SHIPPING: The actual cost of postage will be added on top of the handling charges.
