Description
China, 19th century. Of baluster form supported on a round splayed foot, with a pair of elephant-head handles suspending loose rings, and a domed cover with floral finial. The translucent stone of a pale green tone with splashes of emerald, shadings of pale lavender and gray, dark specks, and russet veins. (4)
Provenance: From a private collection in London, United Kingdom, acquired before 2000.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear, minuscule nibbling to the rims, and light surface scratches.
