Finely painted with Akshobhya seated in vajraparyankasana on a lotus base, holding a vajra in his left hand lowered above the lap, his right held in bhumisparsha mudra, wearing densely decorated loose-fitting monastic robes opening at the chest, backed by a blue mandorla and green halo, flanked by geese below two bodhisattvas standing in tribhanga, all surrounded by 192 images of Akshobhya.

Provenance: From a private estate in Paris, France, acquired in the 1940s, and thence by descent in the family. European private collection, acquired from the above.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear, soiling, creasing, abrasions, small losses, minor touchups, crackling to pigments. The old wood frame with wear, nicks, and scratches. The painting has not been touched or restored since its initial acquisition during the 1940s.
