Description
John J. Audubon (1785-1851) color lithograph titled Canada Jay, Plate 22, Number 107. It is after the original which was printed in 1831. It states in the bottom middle, “FROM THE COLLECTION OF THE NORTHWESTERN MUTUAL LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY”. It states in the bottom right, “Engraved, Printed & Coloured, by R. Havell & Son. London 1831.” It states in the bottom left, “Drawn from Nature and Published by John J. Audubon, F.R.S. F. L. S.” With frame, it measures 19 inches x 25 inches. It is matted and framed under glass in a simple, black frame. Acquired from a Virginia estate., 19IN x 25IN (48cm x 64cm), LOT REF #23-1213
