Manjusri, the Bodhisattva associated with wisdom, doctrine and awareness, who embodies enlightened wisdom. The Sanskrit term Manjusri means Gentle Glory. Seated in dhyansana on a double lotus base, wearing elaborated jewelry, large circular earrings and a tiara around his knotted hair, his hand in dharmacatra mudra. Kangxi six characters mark at the right rectangular window.
