Description
BAYONET. This lot consists of 1 walking stick measuring 33 1/2" with a black wooden shaft and a 3/4" brass tip. The gold-plated handle is engraved on the top, “D. Cutler.” / 1 Walking stick measuring 35 1/4" with a black wooden shaft and a 1 1/2" plated brass tip. The gold-plated T handle is engraved “John Hackett 1881.” / 1 Modern cane measuring 38” with a wooden shaft and a 1” brass tip with a tube cover. The handle is a cast brass cobra head. / 1 Modern cane measuring 32 1/2" with a wooden shaft and no tip. The handle is a cast white metal with a ribbed design. / 1 Italian M1891 Carcano bayonet measuring 17” overall with a blued blade and a brass-mounted leather scabbard featuring a frog stud attached by a screw. CONDITION: all canes & walking sticks show light use with no notable damage, except for a push on the front of the T-handled walking stick. Bayonet shows light overall wear. (02-22287/BF). $300-400.
