Description

An early coin converted to pin back badge made for William H. Davis a Station Agent for the Central Railroad of New Jersey. I couldn't find him via google, so more research time will be required. This badge pre-dates the railroad issuing standard badges to employees. This badge was literally a coin that was hand tooled by an engraver/jeweler with nice markings. The pin back has broken off. It measures about 1 1/4" in diameter.
