He studied art and architecture at the University of Guadalajara, followed by studies at Los Angeles Valley College. He currently resides in both Mexico and the Untied States. He also lived and worked for a number of years in Paris. He has received prominent recognition in more than 20 solo shows and in more than 90 group exhibitions in both Mexico and the US, as well as in France.
