Adrien Lucy (French, 1794-1875). Pair of watercolor on paper paintings depicting landscapes with scenes of warfare. Both signed along the lower margin. The painting of soldiers climbing and embankment with a partial label from the Minneapolis Institute of Art affixed to the verso.

Condition
The painting of an explosion has a small tear visible along the lower left edge. There is some mat burn along the edges. Undulation to the sheet and the acidic mat. To the other painting there is some toning to the sheet throughout. Both are framed under glass; some wear to the frames. Not inspected out of frames.
