Jeffrey Elgin (American, 20th c). Large oil on canvas triptych painting titled "Held (Dedicated to the American Hostages)" depicting an abstract scene on three panels, 1980. Each canvas is signed, dated, and titled along the verso. The work is inspired by the Iran Hostage Crisis which lasted from November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981.
Provenance: Distinguished Corporate Collection, Minnesota.
