Pre-Columbian Inca Kero Cup found in Peru. Hand chisel work inside and worked smooth on the outside with a handling polish from heavy use from its era. This cup has a good amount of patina built up in the recesses. Likely 13th-15th Century. Skillfully hand-carved this vessel was most likely used for drinking Chicha - a fermented corn beer favored by the indigenous peoples of Peru. Measures 4 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" at the rim.
