Original vintage advertising poster for Klein's Halsfeger Frostschutz fur den Hals / Antifreeze for the Throat featuring a colourful cartoon style illustration by the graphic designer Hans Peter Hort (1924-2010) of a bird warmly wrapped as a throat lozenge against winter coughs and colds on top of a box of Halsfeger showing flowers as nature's health remedies including Cowslip and St John's Wort - Schlusselblume Wollblume Althaea rosea Johanniskraut - with snow falling on the blue background. The confectioner Andre Klein founded Halsfeger in 1904 in Basel Switzerland and began making medicinal honey filled herbal sweets in 1920. Published by Wassermann. Large size.
