Description

This is an amazing form of a hand-carved crescent moon out of a solid piece of wood, with a wonderful facial expression. These pieces of carving are considered very artful, and were most likely used in the display to sell products at the turn of the century. CONDITION: The carving shows some age cracks and has some areas of roughness to the wood, but is overall a fantastic carving of a crescent moon with a custom stand. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 17" x 15"
