Description
C. 1910. Valda was created by French pharmacist Henri-Hedmond Canonnes, in 1904 to relieve cough and sore throat. This display advertises relief from a whole host of ailments, such as a cough, asthma, soar throat, etc. The motion is electric and includes a jumping clown and a Houdini look-alike working on a high bar. This example is the only one known to us to date, and is in remarkable original condition. French translation; "A breath of air for the lungs and muscled." CONDITION: It is showing light wear and light surface scratches to the tin advertising. There is no restoration or touch-ups noted, and is fully operational.
