A very early embossed cardboard sign, copyrighted in 1890 by the John Marriam Company with the original brass tag. It shows a nice image of a bulldog, marked "Segars." The piece retains the original brass tag on the frame. CONDITION: The field of this piece retains good colors, with only a few slight wrinkles and cracks to the cardboard. This piece retains a period correct frame and the original brass tag, marked "John W. Marriam." The frame shows age appropriate crazing, with a few pieces of wood missing to the ornate outer edges.
