A late 19th century cigar trade stimulator that turned into a money making gold mine for the operator/proprietor of the store. Virtually nothing mechanical could go wrong with these simplistic machines, yet the gentleman coming in to purchase a cigar was always guaranteed at least one if not two or more cigars for taking a chance and dropping a nickel in the slot. CONDITION: Impressed with a patent date of 1895, this machine is in very fine original condition showing very little wear. Simplistic, yet still a very visually appealing machine!
