Japanese. 1950s. Linemar was the trade name Marx used for toys manufactured in Japan and sold by Marx. Marked, on box lid. Stamped, "Japan", on underside of four cars, truck body, and truck front.

Condition
Toy is complete. Truck has some scuffs and scratches along with discolouration on truck bed and wheels. Plastic windshield is intact. Friction functions properly. The four transport cars are in good condition but show signs of playwear on the bumpers as well as oxidation on the undersides. The original box in great condition.
