Item Details

Description

An iconic form young man cigar cutter, where the cigar end would be put in his mouth and his arm would be depressed to nip it. It has a patent date of January 1881, marked for the Cast Iron Foundry. CONDITION: The cigar cutter shows later applied polychrome paint, probably sometime early in this piece's existence, with a great aged patina. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. Condition: (Very Good) Dimensions: 7"
