Description
This ceramic hand-painted piggy bank dates to the 1940s, when banks did not have a cork in the bottom to retrieve the money, but were instead filled and then broken open. CONDITION: The bank shows very little signs of wear for its age, with no chips, cracks or breaks. PROVENANCE: From the lifelong collection of Bill Howard.
