A. C. Fairbanks "Electric" Banjo. Serial # 9905, circa 1889. Dowel stick stamped "A.C.Fairbanks & Co., Makers, Boston, Mass" in center, and "Electric" on either side. Spun nickel-plate pot in very good condition. Scalloped inverted tone ring. 30 replacement brass shoes, hooks and nuts. 18 frets on standard inlaid fingerboard. Yellowstone Jewelry tailpiece. Scale: 26 - 1/2". Pot: 12". Nut: 1 - 1/4". Included is a black Irin brand soft case with handle and back-pack straps.
