Item Details

Description

James W. Eaton (American, born 1942). A mixed media sculpture. Wood, enamel paint, and other elements. A colorful figural work in the whirligig style featuring a pair of abstract female acrobat figures holding a central lamp post form stem, around which they are modeled to rotate. One of a series titled "Flyers" and "Lamppost Flyers," produced circa 1980s and 1990s. Artist signed and dated 1990 to rump of one figure. Presented on a black lacquered stand surmounting a rectangular wood base.

Dimensions: 19.5 X 39 X 6 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having mild age related wear and surface scuffs. Estate fresh to the market.
