A WILHELM II STERLING SILVER, GOLD GILT WASH, AND BONE RENAISSANCE STYLE KNIGHT, GERMAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY, sterling silver with gold gilt wash details, the feather-plumed conical helmet with flipping face shield, opens to reveal a heavily mustachioed knight standing in contrapposto holding a halberd polearm and rests his shield on his foot, he is dressed in chainmail, with 16th century style armor with feathers and detailed "articulating" armor, over fringed pantaloons, he stands on a renaissance revival plinth base cornered by four dragons holding reversed House of Baden coat of arms, stamped, "STERLING" and "925," with the number 5. Height: 11" Width: 4" Depth: 4"
Condition
