A CHINESE EXPORT QIANLONG STYLE FAMILLE ROSE PORCELAIN BASIN WITH CALLIGRAPHY AND ANCIENT ANTIQUES, PROBABLY QING DYNASTY (1644-1912), the white glazed water basin is enameled in red and black seal and standard calligraphy scripts, centering a famille rose enameled Zhou dynasty style ancient paw foot ding with peony sprig flanked by two bronze tripod offering censers, one with geometric cloisonné and the other with taotie mask. Height: 5" Diameter: 14 1/2" Provenance: Estate of Robert William Guynn, Houston, Texas
Condition
Some rubbing and loss at the edges of the parcel-gilt rim with nearly all lost, losses of calligraphy, crazing, and loss of enameling throughout, the most noted to feet of one tripod. Unmarked.
