Ben Johnson (American, 1902-1967) original oil on canvas painting titled "Playmate as Fine Art," dated 1967.

This painting appeared on page 144 of the January 1967 issue of Playboy magazine as part of the article "The Playmate as Fine Art: Eleven famous contemporary artists interpret Playboy's provocative gatefold girl" with the caption, "[This Playmate] was done with the feeling of abandon a man has when making love."
