Estate of Gwynne Garbisch McDevitt (1931-2022)
McDevitt was the daughter of Colonel Edgar William and Bernice Chrysler Garbisch.

Condition
lot 103: the seat with expected signs of wear commensurate with age and use, including some scuffing (particularly along front edge of seat), some scratches, and a visible area of surface finish loss to left-facing side; the left-facing stile with repaired break at back, where it meets arm-rest attachment- this same stile (and some other spindles toward that side / corner) could benefit from reinforcement, as they are somewhat loose from seat / crest-rail attachments; some scuffing to legs commensurate with age and use, particularly one area to back of left-facing leg; the front stretchers with generally rubbed surfaces commensurate with use; some areas of mild sun-fading
