Description
A Pennsylvania Cherry and Pine Blind Two-Part Dutch Cupboard, Second Quarter 19th Century. The upper section with molded cornice above a pair of blind paneled cupboard doors over a pie shelf, the lower section with rectangular top fitted with three short drawers over a pair of paneled cupboard doors, scalloped skirt, ending in bracket feet.
Dimensions: Height 87 1/4in; width 55 3/4in; depth 19 1/4in.
Provenance: Purchased with Ingham Springs Antiques, Inc., New Hope, Pennsylvania, 1997.
Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection.
Condition
Structurally sound. Heavy wear to the surface overall; especially the lower section. Marks, nicks, wear, scuffs, abrasions, surface scratches and small losses overall. The cupboard was probably once painted.
