Description
Wonderful Bronze study of an Indian woman seated in her canoe, looking over her shoulder. This piece has also been referred to as a representation of the Indian princess, Pocahontas. It is an exquisitely detailed piece featuring a beautiful feathered headpiece, a long spear, and an intricately detailed blanket that is draped across her nude body. Every time you look at this piece, there is something new that catches your eye such as her beaded necklace and hoop earrings, her authentic facial expression, the matching bangles that accent her ankles and wrists, and the ribbed pattern on the long canoe. The details of this piece have been crafted in an extraordinary way that allowed French artisan, Duchoiselle, to truly bring it to life. Dimensions: Height 12 X Width 15 inches. Weight: 21 LB.
