Description
Georges Braque, French, 1882 to 1963, a limited edition helio gravure on vellum paper, Visage, after the original painting, 1913. Circa: 1950s. Signed and dated in the print, lower right. Signed in pencil, lower right. Numbered in pencil, 30 of 50, lower left. Framed. Georges Braque was a major 20th century French painter, collagist, draughtsman, printmaker and sculptor. His most notable contributions were in his alliance with Fauvism from 1905, and the role he played in the development of Cubism.
