Late Period, Ca. 664-332 BC.A panel made of solid wood with a central depictionion of the deceased lying on a ceremonial bed. Above him, a solar disc spreads its wings, whilst four canopies are placed under the bed. The upper register depicts the goddess Nephtys kneeling in a protection pose. Item comes with a professional historical report from Ancient Report Specialists. Size: 540mm x 290mm; Weight: 2.6kg Provenance: Private UK collection, acquired on the Dutch art market; Ex. Private Dutch collection, collected between 1960-1980's. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
