Height 37 3/4 inches.
Condition
In overall fine and stable condition. Retaining a rich, historic surface in areas throughout, with traces of craquelure . Scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age, use and handling. Losses/wear to the edges of the pad feet. There is a triangular patch to the crestrail at the junction with the proper right stile. The chair was likely cracked and reglued at the junction of the proper right stile, rear and side seat rails, but no sign of patches in that area. The knee returns appear to be replaced, though showing age. The proper left side knee return is loose. Glue blocks and slip seat are replaced.
