Description

This is a Mary Bubb collection of items. Mary Bubb was one of the first space journalists reporting on launches out of Cape Canaveral, Florida. Bubb was the only woman reporter for military publication Daily Pacifican during World War II and the first woman space reporter. This collection consists of 3 Press badges for the Titan III-C, Apollo 6 and Gemini 6/7 missions, along with a personal business card. There is also a Western Electric News photograph showing Mary Bubb, several handwritten notes and a biography on Mary Bubb's life and career. All these items are in very good to excellent condition with few edge and corner issues. The badges show wear from use at the time of the missions.
