A white jade seated Guanyin, with woodstand, Mid Qing Dynasty (a countryside house in Essex County)
depicted a figure of Guanyin seated on double lotus seat with a scroll in one hand and the other hand on her right knee, the deity finely carved with a serene expression, her hair wound into a topknot covered with a long veil reaching down over her shoulders, her long flowing robes draped in thick folds, the stone of even white colour, with later woodstand
