Description
Made in 1937 by Emil Eckoldt for the German Luftwaffe (air force) as a form of communication that didn't rely on radio transmitters. Features 6.5" single piece steel barrels in 4 bore (26.5mm). Stamped on top of the barrel is "4" circled below German proof marks. Left side of the frame is stamped with the Luftwaffe contract number "FL244833" below the barrel, with the "ECKO" logo, "1937" and German eagle proof mark at the rear of the frame. Right side of the frame is stamped with serial number "3341". Manual thumb safety on the left side. Barrel selector lever at the rear center. Double side-by-side triggers. Brass break action lever in front of the trigger guard. Brown molded checkered synthetic grips. CALIBER: 4 Bore. S/N: 3341. FFL STATUS: N/A.
Condition
Retains approximately 65% of the original finish. Does show deep scratches on the muzzle ends, and light scratches and scuffs throughout. Bores and mechanics are good.
