Description
This Kanjar knife has a gold-gilded scabbard and a bird-faced pommel, adding a touch of opulence to this Middle Eastern two-edged curved dagger. A highly recognizable weapon form, these curved daggers are prevalent across the Middle East. The Kanjar/Jambiya, with its origins possibly in Arabia, dates back to the 16th century, first appearing in Turkey and Iran. The distinctive curve of this dagger makes it well-suited for various knife-fighting styles, especially effective for draw-cuts across unprotected flesh or precise thrusts into vulnerable vitals. Knife, pommel to point: 13.75"L x 3.25"W. Blade: 9"L.
