A beautiful hand painted color, and ink on paper woodblock horizontal print. Edo Period, features a group of figures walking through the rain in the countryside. Original print can be found in the 1830s series, Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido Road, by the ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige (Japanese, 1797-1858). Title print on the top left. Print placed on mat paper. Mat: 20.5"W x 12.5"H. Print size: 11.75"W x 8.5"H.
