Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Doucai Lotus Porcelain Moon Bottle Vase. Potted in moon vase, thick and tall, with bulbous lower region, moon belly, sweeping up into a slender neckline and straight mouth rim, emerge two archaic ruyi handles flanked from neck to the shoulder rim, create majestic handles, raised on short rectangle foot base with slight concave footing. The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against DouCai design color, is outlined in under glaze blue and filled in with over glaze colored enamels except blue colors which fit together but also contrasting or joined colors. Depicted of abundant lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
