19th century, possibly Scandinavian, hinged plank top, dovetailed case painted with floral decoration and "1878" numerals, grain painted sides with bail handles, molded base, 20-1/2 x 49 x 24-1/2 in.

Provenance: Private Collection, Brentwood, Tennessee

structurally sound, worn surface, paint appears to be original with significant loss throughout, top only with trace paint remaining, scattered old insect holes and related losses (not active), some surface losses, cracks and shrinkages, base with losses and molding separations, replaced hinges, other general wear and imperfections from age and use
