Soap Hollow Somerset County, Pa. red and black paint decorated blanket chest. Freehand roses in center with stencil decoration. Dated 1872 with initials FAW. Measuring 41 1/2" long, 22 3/4" high and 18" deep. Some wear to edges and top as can be seen in the photos. Hinge attachment worn and moved, otherwise age appropriate wear. Please see photos for a more accurate condition.
