Description
After Antonio Frilli (Italian, 1860-1902), "The Veiled Lady," 19th c., cast marble composite bust, wearing a garland of flowers on a circular cast socle, signed and inscribed 'Firenze' Italy en verso, H.- 13 3/4 in., W.- 9 in., D.- 6 in.
Condition
The sculpture is a smaller marble composite reproduction of the original. Sculpture is molded after, not carved. There is a chip to the left side edge of the bust and to the black socle. There is a chip to the back edge and to one of the ribbon ends at the back of the hair.
