Description: Fantastic image of Murakami Yoshimitsu retrieving his clan's banner from the enemy. He enters the courtyard disguised as a yamabushi or mountain priest, grabbing the banner with one hand. His adversary falls forward, still clutching the standard, as another opponent sprawls on the ground at right. The fellow at left recoils in surprise and horror, his mouth wide open and arms flung out to the side. Yoshimitsu wears a short gray and white jacket and a small black cap, a portable shrine strapped to his back. A terrific design with great expressive faces and wonderful detail in the armor and clothing, including touches of burnishing.
